|| 1 Fish, 2 Fish || *New* Baked Tilapia Recipe

I am thrilled to share this homemade recipe with you for baking deliciously fresh Tilapia filets!

Come on & let's get started!

Begin by thawing & cleaning your tilapia filets in fresh water and vinegar ( 4 or 5 tablespoons ) for a minimum of 30mins.

Be sure to alternate between soaking and rinsing to thoroughly clean fish.

While your Tilapia is cleaning, begin to prepare your side dish!

1 whole tomatoe 1 whole onion

sliced diced

Cooked Penne Pasta with Original Feta Cheese Crumbles

* Garnished in Basil and Italian seasonings.

* Cayenne Pepper added for my personal flavor preference; then mix!

1/2 Sharp Chedder Cheese

&

Your choice of tomatoe sauce

Butter, Sliced Tomatoes & Dices Onions layer the bottom of your oven safe baking dish.

Also, be sure to have presized your filets to properly fit!

Now, have yourself a mini-seasoning party!

Tenderly lay your Tilapia filets on top of prepared butter, diced onions and sliced tomatoes with light

seasonings. Then, cover filets with a healthy toping of the same ingredients!!!

Coat your seasoned filets, however lightly or heavily (as I've done), with tomatoe sauce or paste, and

use your disgretion to gage for your desired taste.

Like so...

Lastly, bake your filets at the preheated oven temperature of 425 degrees for 45 mins.

Use this time to clean up prep-mess, prepare a salad and fix yourself a drink.

You've earned it!

Lastly, for all of those whom are less familiar with the world of seasons we have at our finger tips, allow me to

introduce you to a few of my primary seasonings garunteed to complement any of your desired dishes!

Sodium based Salt like Old Bay, Tony's, Seasoned Salt.. etc ( low sodium if possible )

A form of Black Pepper; crushed or powder [ Here, I've recycled a former tomatoe sauce glass jar into a pepper container

An all purpose seasoning namely Mrs. Dash, practically any blend; yet, remember to choose low / no salt because you already have a sodium base.

Basil & Italian are excellent complements that do not disrupt the flavor of any meal, howver, distinctly add a bit of pizzaz!

Cayenne Pepper is my first love, and though not necessary for some, it along with the mixed chili pepper seasoning behind it are my spicy lovers must-haves!

Curry & Tumeric powders are healthy in antioxidants and minerals beneficial to our everyday immune systems as well as great angents for healthy skin and hair growth. When flavoring your food with these spices you're in for a treat, simply be prepared for a lovely pop of color accompanying your delicious meal!

Lastly, this BBQ seasoning - while some may find it less essential - moreso represents sweetness. Ever so often, your dish may benefit from a pinch or two of sweetness. I choose Raw Sugar Cane imported from Guyana and located in the grocery aisle immediately next to other sugars.
